What a year it has been and by year, I mean 2021 — two weeks. It has not been a smooth transition, to say the least. Good news, I finally found the most accurate calendar for January. Bad news, it’s just as bad as it feels. I’m pretty sure we are stuck in the infinity phase right now.
On that note, I’m finding myself holding on to a couple things. One, have faith by remembering — remembering what God has done for us and already brought us through. He has not forsaken us yet and He won’t start now. Two, look for the good and remember the good moments. So, that’s what I want to do today. I saw this on social media and wanted to share it here.
I think we could all use a little good — let’s allow ourselves to take a moment to remember it. I look forward to seeing your moments!
Fear is on my chest, the weight of the world on me
Everything is crashing down, everything I had known
When I wonder if I’m all alone
I remember, I remember
You have always been faithful to me
I remember, I remember
Even when my own eyes could not see
You were there, always there
I will lift my eyes even in the pain
Above all the lies, I know You can make a way
I have seen giants fall, I have seen mountains move
I have seen waters part because of You
I remember (I remember) I remember (I remember)
You have always been faithful to me
I remember (I remember) I remember (I remember)
Even when my own eyes could not see
You were there, always there
I can’t stop thinking about
I can’t stop thinking about
Your goodness, goodness
I remember, I remember
You have always been faithful to me
I remember (I remember) I remember (I remember)
Even when my own eyes could not see
You were there, always there, with me
I don’t see dinner plans in Alvin on that insane January calendar 😉. On a serious note, thank you for this lovely reminder to remember.
