Welcome to my first Christmas house tour! After a couple of weeks of digging through boxes, rearranging, and too many trips to Hobby Lobby to count, Christmas is up. I have officially called it and am now ready to enjoy it. This year went a little smoother it being the second Christmas in our house — but I also had all year to brainstorm! If you didn’t already realize, I’m pretty sure I have some sort of sentimental sickness when it comes to Christmas decorations, but in my defense, it’s completely genetic. At this point in my life, I have accepted it and am fully embracing it — after all, it’s only once a year!
Family Room
Our main tree is full of vintage ornaments I acquired from my aunt and grandmothers. I love getting to display them on my tree and around the house — brings back so many special memories. It also has felt accents and Christmas signs tucked in for a little vintage feel as well. Maybe next year I will try adding ribbon if I can ever decide on one.

Kitchen and Dining Room
This year my mom brought me all the Spode dishes. A couple of dear friends would give me a plate, mug, or cup and saucer set for Christmas every year when I was younger. I now have a full place setting for nine. What a special tradition and gift to last for years to come. I am so looking forward to using them for the first time as an actual adult in my own home.
Of course, I have more ornaments on the table in different size apothecary jars I found at Marshall’s this year. The most I spent on one was $9.99, so I’d say they were a great find…my husband doesn’t seem to think so, but what does he know about apothecary jars! lol
And how cute are those little bottle brush Christmas tree napkin rings — I scored those last year at Hobby Lobby. Speaking of Christmas trees, I may have started a collection. My go-to places are Marshall’s, TJ Maxx, Hobby Lobby, and my favorite resale store, Forgotten Angels, which supports and employs people with special needs. I only added two this year and technically my mom got them, so….I’ll let you be the judge.
There is not a whole lot going on in the kitchen other than the “Hot Chocolate” tiered tray and wreaths on the windows. It’s kind of nice since it seems to be the dumping point for everything — shoes, school bags, papers, masks and more shoes somehow. But I love having little treats for people to pick up as they go by. I have a feeling I might turn into the older lady who hands out Andes Mints at some point.

Outdoor
Moving this Christmas house tour outside. The front porch feels bare because we moved our 5-foot vintage Santa from my grandmother to the back patio. On the bright side though, I don’t think there is a peeping Tom in the window with him gone now! He did about give me a heart attack more than a couple of times last year. He fits in much better where he is now — turns out I just needed to build a covered patio — win-win, haha. We even found out the light still works for him, just needed a new bulb. I was always terrified I was going to be electrocuted when I plugged it in, so I made Chris do it, lol. I think he looks so cute in his little Christmas tree farm. Better yet, all I bought for this space was beaded garland from Hobby Lobby and that 7-foot pre-lit tree on sale for $40 at Michaels!
Our front porch and yard are pretty much a hodgepodge of decorations still. My mom brought down what feels like 200 Christmas tree and peppermint yard stakes this year — I told you this was genetic! #enabler It was all I could do to get Bailey to at least have some symmetry putting them up, but she pulled it off. Maybe one day we’ll get it together and put lights on the house and wrap our tree.

I hope you enjoyed my incredible photography skills once again and my vintage Christmas obsessed Merry & Bright House Tour. Show me your Christmas tree or favorite decoration you look forward to putting out each year. I love seeing what others are doing for this special time of year.
Praying we are all able to focus on the true meaning of Christmas, the sovereignty Jesus brings in the midst of worldly chaos, the sacrificial unconditional love given to each of us, and allow our faith to be bigger than our fear.
Girl that is just awesome! What a Happy house!! Merry Christmas😘
Thank you Lynn!
You have a wonderful gift of decorating and love the meaning behind everything!
You make the memories special😘
Lynn said you put me to shame🤣🤣
I told you it’s genetic….maybe it gets better with each generation?! LOL Wonder what Bailey’s house will look like??
Love your decor! Perfection as always! Favorite is the hot chocolate station and you need to put Almond Joys out, not Andes Mints —lol!
Bite-size Almond Joys!!! YES! LOL
