Let’s talk lighting! I wanted to share some of my favorite light fixtures I’ve found throughout my searching. When we moved into our home over a year ago, it had all the original fixtures — picture shiny brass everywhere. I know brass is back, but in more of a muted, antique-gold kind of way and the current fixtures were not doing it for my modern-boho-farmhouse style, so they had to go. Replacing the fixtures was pretty high on the list and although it is a fairly easy fix, it can be costly. But changing the chandelier, pendants or vanity lights can make a huge difference in the style of the room. So, let’s get to it. Here are some of my favorite light fixture finds that won’t break the bank — and a couple that might but I had to throw in.

Pendants
The kitchen is a focal point in the house and it was getting a major overhaul by our favorite contractors at Royal Oak Renovations. Check out my blog Roll-in shower reno for another project.

Another amazing renovation at a friends house. Closet and attic space turned into a gorgeous ensuite bathroom. These antique gold pendants are perfect framing the mirror.

Chandeliers
I had my eye on this light fixture for months. I patiently waited for it to go on sale on Wayfair and I’m so glad I did — love it. It cast beautiful shadows on the walls too.

Vanity Lights

Tip — Lowes and Home Depot usually have some very reasonable mix and match options for vanity lights as well as pendants. Pick your finish, style and shade shape. This was a great option for Hayes bathroom and save a few bucks.
