Top Five Favorites — Amazon Home Decor

It’s Friday!! Check out my top five favorites from amazon home decor. I am going to try and start sharing some of my favorite finds — from home decor, fashion, books, health and beauty to special needs tools. The best way to find something your looking for is to usually from a referral, right. I know when I’m spending money on something, it’s nice to know it was recommended by someone I know or trust. Whether I’m looking for a vaccum, steamer, curtains or someone to build a patio, I always go to my people first and then check those rating stars.

So, let’s get to it. Here are my top five favorites from Amazon in home decor. I hope you’re ready to be amazed by my photography skills, LOL. Also, enjoy a couple out-takes with my dog who insist on being in the middle of freakin’ everything. #thatdoggieinthewindow

#1 Blue Ikat Cotton Drapes — Half Price Drapes

I love how these drapes turned out! I had my eye on them on Amazon for a while. They have such great deep and bright blues in them and compliment our blue island perfectly. They are heavy, fall well, and look fantastic. Blue Ikat Drapes here

 

#2 White Blackout Curtains

I went through three different “blackout” cutains before I found these. The master bedroom at the beah house — Sausalito Shores — has a great viewing deck, but the sunrise is right there too, so, blackout curtains were a must. I had such a hard time finding ones that didn’t look a plastic table cloth or too shiny hanging on the wall. These worked great — fully lined and had great fabric texture. White Blackout Curtains here

#3 Buffalo Check Rug

I love this rug, just adds another accent layer to the front porch. Classic black and white buffalo check goes with so may colors and themes for all year use. Comes in different sizes and is washable…which reminds me, I should probably do that. Since it’s October, here’s a throw back to Halloween last year. #4 Black Hairpin Table Legs

Long story, but we ended up with two of these extremely solid wooden tops for a coffee table. We also were in need of a desk, since we actually had an office that was going to be used as an office  in the new house. So, I searched and searched and found these legs at the right height for a desk. They come in 3 different heights options so you could use them for a coffee table too. Black Hairpin Table Legs here

 

#5 Antique Gold Wall Sconce – Rivet

There is just something about this sconce I was drawn to! It’s starburst shape is fun, unique, modern, mid-century all without being over the top. I love seeing it everyday on our mini hallway. Antique Gold Wall Sconce here
